Hi, my name is Jackie, and I’d like to welcome you to my site. I’m the owner, jewellery designer and tutor at Missing Links Jewellery. I run this together with my husband Phil in the Highlands, about 30 miles from Inverness. We’re lucky enough to live in a beautiful rural location where the trees, water, and (sometimes) snow capped hills give me inspiration when I design my jewellery.

Crafting in any form has been known to improve well-being and I first started making jewellery as a way to reduce stress from my day job. I was fortunate enough that I was in a position to move away from London and focus more attention to jewellery making. I love what I do and I hope that you’ll get as passionate about learning to use metal clay as I did when I first started. Being able to mold the clay into practically any shape, and fire it quickly and easily to produce beautiful jewellery is pure magic and joy.

For me, as well as making, I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they see for the first time that little piece of clay turn into silver. I take great pleasure in sharing the knowledge I have so started running classes in Inverness and Dingwall as well as at my workshop outside Garve during the summer months. I like to make the classes as fun as possible and try to bring out your artistic side to produce your own beautiful jewellery. You’d be amazed how even with no previous experience people can produce pieces that even surprise themselves.

Making jewellery is a fun social event perfect for sharing with existing friends or making new ones so if you’re looking for a fun activity to fill a day at the weekend, or have some experience and have a specific goal in mind, please email or call (details below).

If you’re interested in finding out more, have a look at the classes page and watch the video, or you can email me or give me a call on 01997 414 254.
